Mark has over 20 years’ experience focusing on strategy and operations at automotive and industrial manufacturers. In his consulting work, he has advised many industrial companies on tackling strategic issues, including post-merger integrations, restructuring, expanding to new segments, handling market shifts, and creating new business approaches for capturing value from the shifting trends and competitive dynamics. Within automotive, he has worked across the value chain, from suppliers and automakers to finance & insurance, aftermarket and dealership groups. Mark brings deep experience in helping automotive and industrial companies transform, improve operations, acquire companies, and grow. He also works extensively with private equity investors in acquisitions and operational improvements. Prior to AlixPartners, Mark was a program manager at Magna International, a consultant at McKinsey & Company, and led business development at HSBC Auto Finance. Mark has an MBA from the Wharton School, a BSCE in mechanical engineering from Queens University, and is a licensed Professional Engineer and Certified Insolvency & Restructuring Advisor.
